Well, we check out later this morning and head back home. It’s been a good trip.
Yesterday we headed into St. Joseph and had a good time walking around and in and out of several stores. We purchased a couple of kites for the girls which we will take out to the beach this morning and fly. I got some coffee, and a new chess set.
I was quite a bit out of sorts yesterday. Anna had been feeling unwell Saturday evening, and it hit me yesterday. We think we may have ate something, but the girls were unaffected. I feel pretty good today, however. Unfortunately, with my not feeling all that great, I failed to get around for Divine Liturgy. I had planned on attending St. Elizabeth the New Martyr in Chesterton, but will have to try again another time.
Last night before bed Anna and I played a few rounds of (a version of) nertz, and one game of Scrabble. It was fun. We haven’t done that in a long, long time. It’s just so busy in our daily life, with me teaching two nights a week, and Anna working from home (and needing to wait to do so till after I’ve put the girls down for the night).
The girls are watching their favorite (Curious George on PBS), and we’re getting ready to eat breakfast here. Then it’s “breaking camp” and to the beach, and then, ultimately, on home.

I was looking for you @ liturgy @ All Saints this past Sunday… I didnt find you… I did spend about two hours with Michael Rhodes however…
I shall visit again…
Maximus:
Wow! I am disappointed. It would have been nice to have visited with you.
And yes, please visit again!
Hi , I found your blog by searching for “Nertz” online. It is cool to see others that know the game. I hope you don’t mind but I just wanted to let you know about playnertz.com. It has got a bunch of Nertz information there as well as videos and online Nertz games. Feel free to check it out. Also you and your friends/family are welcome to join fellow Nertz players in The National Nertz Association while you are there.
